TOM-003                MOTORISED GYROSCOPE                                           

 

                        The equipment consists of rotary   disc     precisely     balanced     which     can   be   rotated   in    3 mutually perpendicular   axis   coupled with stepless variable, speed motor of STD make  Supported in   ball   bearing    with loading arrangements.  Accurately   marked   scale   &   pointer to measure precession rate.

 

TOM-004                STATIC & DYNAMIC BALANCING APPARATUS    

 

                        This   apparatus  consists of a perfectly balanced steel shaft mounted  in 
                        ball bearings in a rigid rectangular frame.  A set of   four balancing blocks 
                        of different weights are provided & a   appositive split clamp arrangement 
                        allows then to be easily   fixed   in any position along the shaft.  Each block 
                        is specially   designed  so that its turning moments about one of the shaft.

                        With variable speed motor of STD make to draw speed Vs lift characteristics for rising & falling load.  It consists of different governor mechanisms with necessary springs & weighing like watt. porter, hartnele, accurately engraved scale fixed to apparatus for measuring sleeve movement & radius of governor.

                                  CUTTER                                                                        

 

                        The  apparatus consists of the process of cutting of involutes gear   tooth   by  use of rack type cutter.  It consists of three polystyrene   discs   A.B.C.   having pitch circle dia. 450mm, 300   mm, 200 mm.  A gear tooth profile with M = 1” can be traced   out   on   a piece of paper placed between disc & cutter.    An   effect  of interface & under cutting on correct profile of gear tooth can be studied from the profiles traced.  Beard size 3’ x 2/2’ approx.

 

TOM-031                CAM ANALYSIS MACHINE                                        

 

                        The machine consists of variable speed D.C. Motor drivers the rotor by that cams.  Three different types of cams with dial gauge are provided variable speed arrangement done by dimmerstat.
