Hydraulic Intensifier is a device for stepping up the pressure of oil
in machine requiring very high pressure during their
working period. The working of such machine if
intermintent. The intensifier is analogues to an electric transformer which steps up
the voltage, the difference being
that where of the transformer supplies
current at stepped up the higher voltage continuously. The
intensifier supplies the liquid at higher pressure immediately.
