ICP-01            A.  SINGLE CYLINDER 2 STROKE PETROL ENGINE          

                              TEST RIG.

 

                          The Test Rig Consists of the following :

 

                          a.   Engine : Single cylinder 2 stroke petrol engine of 150 CC capacity.

                                Make  : Bajaj Auto Ltd.
b.   Dynamometer : The   Engine   is   coupled   to   Rope   Brake 
        Dynamometer   through   flexible   coupling   on a common base   
       
plate. Brake  drum of 200 mm dia. & vertical spring balance,   
       
hand   wheel, weight hanger, dead weights for conducting experiments.

                          c.   Fuel Measuring Device :   Fuel  tank mounted on sturdy iron stand,   
       
burette tube, three way cock, connecting tube & a stop clock.

                          d.   Calorimeter : Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger to measure the heat goes 
         through exhaust gases.

                          e.   Air Intake Measurement :  Air Intake reservoir of size
        0.3 x 0.3 x 0.5 m. with orifice plate, U-Tube   manometer of 0.5 m height
        for the measurement of air flow rate.

                          f.    12   channel   Digital Temperature Indicator :   With set of
        thermocouples ( six ) along with 6 way selector switch.

                       IN CUT SECTION. ( WITHOUT MOTOR DRIVEN ).         

 

                        Original   second   hand   diesel version engine is dissected wherever   necessary to demonstrate the valve operations, camshaft,   oil   pump,   crankshaft,   movement of piston & connecting   rod   oil strainer ( filter ), water jackets etc. One injector   is   also   shown   in   cut   section.    One  handle is provided to turn shaft.

                  b.   Same As Above but Motor Driven.                                                       

 

ICM-03    FOUR STROKE SINGLE CYLINDER DIESEL ENGINE IN     

                  CUT SECTION.

 

                        Original   second     hand diesel version engine is dissected wherever   necessary same as above. Air Cleaner, Oil Filter, Diesel   Filters are also in cut section which are mounted on engine.  One handle   is   fixed to flywheel for movement of flywheel.

 

ICM-04    TWO STROKE DIESEL ENGINE IN CUT SECTION.

                        Original   second   hand   steering   mechanism   of      jeep mounted   on   sturdy   wooden  base & steering gear box is dissected     to     demonstrate   warm   &   warm  wheel   or sector gears drag link, drop arm, tie rod & wheel arm.

                        The unit is so constructed to demonstrate the switch, distributor 4 spark plug, ignition coil etc. mounted on wooden board.

                  CONDITION.

 

                        The magneto ignition system of two wheeler is mounted on wooden board & it demonstrates the magnet, starting coil, condenser, contact breaker, spark plug, H.T. & coil.

 

ICM-24    ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT BOARD FOR CAR (                            

                  LAYOUT OF CAR WIRING).

 

                        This   unit   is   mounted   on   wooden  board & it consists of battery   connections,   self   starter   with   switch, dynamo, compact   ampher  meter, switch, ignition coil distributor, 4 spark   plugs,   horn   with switch, to head lights, with dipper light,  park   lights,   dipper   switch, brake lights with switch, Electric motor is provided to drive the dynamo.

 

ICM-25    FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM OF PETROL ENGINE.                   

 

                        This unit consists of fuel tank float, fuel indicator, carburetor, fuel   filter   etc. all connected with rubber hose & mounted on wooden base.

 

 ICM-26   FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM OF DIESEL ENGINE.                    

 

                        This unit consists of diesel tank with float indicator, diesel filter unit ( Primary & Secondary ) fuel indicator fuel pump etc. mounted on wooden base.

 

ICM-27    CHASIS FRAME WITH FOUR WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM                 

                        This   unit   consists   of   a  chassis of jeep on which steering mechanism,      braking    system   suspension   system,   two differential. Two propeller  shafts   gear  box with transfer case   ( four wheel ) etc. are   suitably   mounted   &  are sectioned.

 

ICM-28    CHASSIS FRAME WITH INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION                

                  SYSTEM

 

                        This unit consists   of   a  chassis of standard car on which steering mechanism,
braking  system suspension system, ( independent ). The differential one propeller shafts gear box etc. are suitably mounted & are sectioned.
