SHM-001 BATCH DRYING UNIT                                                 

            
The   apparatus   consists  of  drying chamber in    which  trays are kept. The air supplied to the chamber  is means   of compressor.  By   pass   valve  & flow control valve are provided   for varying the air flow rate through a rotameter & then   to   the   heating  chamber provided with heater.  After   getting    heated,   air   passes   through   the inlet, thermometer   &   then  over the tray where material to be dried  is kept.    From   the drying chamber the air comes  out   of   the   exit   duct & through the exit wet & dry bulb thermometer. Digital temperature indicator is provided.

 

SHM-002 COOLING TOWER                                            

 

                  The unit consists of :
a. Tower size : 300 mm x 300 mm x 1200 mm.
b. Packing : Expanded wire mesh (Two sets).
c. Rotameter : 0 - 2 LPM to measure inlet water flow.            
d. Blower : Centrifugal type 3 HP.
e. Dry & Wet bulb thermometers : 2 sets. 0 - 110^o C.
f. Orficemeter : To measure air flow.
g. Psychometric gun to measure wet & dry bulb temperature at 5 positions
    in the tower along with starter
h. All the   electrical   switches  are mounted on panel board.

 

SHM-003     NATURAL COOLING TOWER                         

                  a.   The unit consists of tower size 800 x 800 x 1800 mm 

                  b.   Packing/Frills steel metal/FRP.

                  c.   Rotameter : 1 - 0 - 2 LPM to measure inlet water flow rates. 

                  d.   Fan - Axial Flow type with 1 HP motor. 

                  e.   Gysors : 2 Nos of 2 Kw each provide Hot Water.

                  f.    Digital Temperature is provided with 3 temperature sensors.

                  g.   Centrifugal Pump of ½ HP for water circulation.
 

SHM-004 VACCUM CRYSTALLISER

  a. It consists   of   vessel   of SS-316 capacity Ltr.  provided with vapour
     outlet connection. discharge pipe & agitator.
b. Vaccum Pump : Oil ring type with 1HP Motor of capacity 720 mm/Hg.
c. Heating Arrangement : Vessel provided with jacket through which hot water
    is passed. Two gysors of 2 Kw each are provided to heat the water.
d. Cooling Arrangement :Cooling water can be circulated through outer jacket.
e. Multu channel Digital temerature indicator along with 3 sensors is provided.
f. Rotameter : 0 - 3 LPM to measure water flow rates.

 

            Service Required :
440 V 3 Phase electric supply.

                        Tap water at the rate of 2 LPM.

 

SHM-005 BATCH CRYSTALLISER 
                                                   

            i. It consists of vessel SS-316 of 5 Ltr capacity provided with bottom discharge valve.

 

            ii. Jacket (M.S) thick - 5 mm. clearance 15 mm.

                       

            iii. Agitator : Anchor   type   SS-316   roted  by fraction  horse power, single phase motor.

 

            iv. Heating Arrangement : Vessel provided along with jacket through which hot water is 

                passed, by means of gyesor 2 Nos.

 

            iv. Cooling water arrangement : Cooling water can be circulated through outer jacket.

 

            Service Required:

 

                        440 V 3 Phase electric supply.

                        Tap water at the rate of 2 LPM.

 

SHM-006 FLUDISED BED DRIER                                                           

 

            The unit consists of :
a. Glass cylinder of 2 “ dia. of suitable height with air heating system.
    Batch capacity 300 gm.
b. Compressor of 6 CFM capacity.
c. Rotameter for air flow measurement 0 - 76 LPM.
d. Temperature indicator cum controller.
e. Air heater : Heater equipped with voltmeter ammeter, back filter disengaging
   space etc.

 

SHM-007 HUMIDIFICATION & DEHUMIDIFICATION                       

 

          The unit consists of 
a. Humidifaction Column

SHM-008 LONG TUBE CLIMBING EVAPORATOR.                                 

 
The evaporator consists of a long vertical tube with jacket for heating. The feed is
allowed at the bottom from an overhead feed chamber. Provision is made for feed
recirculation & evaporation of  the apparatus for maintaining required evaporation
temperature. Quantity & temperature of jacket quantity & temperature of concentrate
weight & temperature of condensate are measured.

 

SHM-009 ROTARY DRIER.                                                                        

 
The apparatus consists of glass shell with roller supports at the two ends & a gear connected to the motor.  Wet feed is fed through the chute & dried product outlet point. Air is supplied by a blower. By pass valve & flow  control blower enable variation of air flow rate through the drier. heating   arrangement for air heating is provided  measures air flow rate. Thermometer measures the temperature of wet feed & dried product.  Wet & dry built thermometers enable measurement of air condition at inlet to  outlet from the counter flow rotary drier.  The rotational   speed   of shell is evaluated by measuring the speed   of   rotation  of motor & the gear ratio or by visual observation   of  a colored water on the shell & by turning the   number   of   revolution with the help of s stop clock.

 

 

SHM-010 SINGLE EFFECT EVAPORATOR.                                             

 

            This unit consists of :

 

            a.          Main shell : 1 No.

                        O.D 320 mm.

                        I.D. 300 mm

                        Height  : 525 mm.

                        Shell thickness : 8 mm.

                        Flange thickness for main shell : 10 mm.

                        Dish ends for top &  bottom of the shell will be provided.

The apparatus consists of a vertical cylindrical shell with vertical   tubes   held between two horizontal tube sheets.  Boiling   takes   place   within   these small tube & natural circulation is prompted by the large down comes.

 

            Heating Arrangement :
a. The unit consists of jacketed open pan of 20 Ltr capacity provided with
    jacket.
b. Heating Arrangement by thermo fluid heater with oil tank ( 25 Ltr capacity) 
   with gear pump of ½ HP capacity.
c. 3 Thermometers will be provided.

 

SHM-014 OPEN PAN EVAPORATORS

 

            Heating Arrangement :
a. The unit consists of jacketed open pan of 20 Ltr capacity provided with
    jacket.
b. Heating Arrangement by thermo fluid heater with oil tank ( 25 Ltr capacity)
    with gear pump of ½ HP capacity.
